Just four bets today, and one winner to leave me with a small loss on the day.
The only winner was King's Forest from The Form Analyst. Graeme was very confident about this one, advising his first 3 point win bet since he started. Very heavily backed into 11/10 favourite from the morning 9/4 and ran out a good winner.
Will be starting the New Year celebrations early tomorrow, so the next update after this will be sometime on New Year's Day when I will update the final figures for 2008, along with my thoughts on how it's all gone this year and my targets for the new year.

Great Game This !!!

A bad couple of days had seen the profit drop back below the 20K mark. However Exotic Dancer put things back on track today, as he was advised by three of my services. Just shows that you should never get too up or down emotionally with results as tomorrow is always another day and the daily P&L starts at 0. It's easier said than done, but I certainly deal with the swings much better than I did a year ago.
I missed the first Isiris bet because I was out for lunch with my Dad, and forgot to take my phone with me, believe it was an each way on Toby Belch at Leicester at about 3/1 so saved me £100 by missing it. However back in time to pick up the advice to back Exotic Dancer, so that was good :-)
Valedictory message on the Isiris line tonight from KB, and that might well be the last bets from them on the mainline. He's certainly closing down the service until at least the beginning of March and reckons there's a 25% chance he'll start up again. I hope he will - despite the problems of getting on, it's a fascinating service to follow and some of KB's ramblings are very entertaining, although you have to take some of what he says with large sackfuls of salt.
The two premium rate lines they operate will continue, they are voiced by other members of the team and so the info they receive will still be given out.
Tipping Legends had a good day, putting up Celticello at 16/1 - couldn't find any 16's but happy enough with 14/1 about my winner, could have been even better for them but Steve Drowne contrived to get Majehar beat in the last at Lingfield.
Had an interesting day on the football. Selected 5 draws - Coventry, Doncaster, Aldershot, Gillingham and Port Vale but cocked up the bet when I put it on and put Cov and Donny down as home wins instead. Put the bet on again with the 5 draws as I I planned.
Coventry and Donny both won, Gillingham drew, but there were late winners in the other two games (87mins and 91mins). Looked good for about two minutes and I was dreaming of a 4K pay out, but it wasn't to be. Will land on one eventually though !!

Shocking Day

Following on from yesterday, a horrific day with no winners from the numerous tips given out. I think 0/19 must be some sort of record !!! Some good priced seconds over the last two days but that doesn't help me. Still the profit has been going up in a straight line for the last couple of months so no complaints at how everything is going. Hopefully, tomorrow will bring better things.

Not The Day I Wanted

As you know, I was on big on Rebecca Adlington to win the Sports Personality award. Only third, but the saver on Chris Hoy and the lay on Lewis Hamilton ensured a profit on the event.
Elsewhere, just one winner on the horses today, and nothing doing on the Golf - Tim Clark who Tipping Legends put up in the previous two weeks won the Australian Open Golf in a play-off, but they didn't advise him this week !! One of those days. Never mind....

Disappointing weekend then, and the yearly profit has dipped back below 20K. Couple more weeks left this year to build on what I've made, and then I'll reckon up all the subs etc and see how it all works out.
Already got plans and targets for 2009 in mind, which I'll expand on at New Year, half the battle will be plugging the leaks and organising myself better, but it all looks good from here !!

Lousy day weather wise meant the big Cheltenham card was lost.
Unfortunately for me Doncaster and Southwell went ahead.
Smugglers Bay ran a great race but was headed in the last 50 yards, the front two well clear, and Lord Chancellor was just worried out of it at Southwell so not the best of days and just to put the tin hat on it Tim Cahill scored in the 92nd minute to ensure a loss on my football bets as well.
Still Rebecca Adlington tomorrow will get me out on the weekend, at least the market says she will so we shall see. Certainly not laying any of it off !

Tipping Legends - Birdie Golf Service
Another great week for the Tipping Legends golf service with Henrik Stenson winning the Nedbank Challenge by 9 shots to land another winner at 13/2.
They are now over 80 points in profit, which is amazing for a golf tipping service.
Tips are sent by e-mail and / text on Wednesday's before tournaments start. Much of their information comes direct from the Euro or US Tour via long serving and very experienced caddies.
The guys who run the service have been very supportive of my efforts on here, they like the honesty of my comments - and also it shows how good their service is !
They have been in touch to offer me 10 six month subscriptions to their service at £200 each (normal price is £245) for me to sell on.
I am going to sell these at £225, which gives me £25 for my trouble and a thank you from the guys, and a discount for you.

They are now over 80 points in profit, which is amazing for a golf tipping service.
Tips are sent by e-mail and / text on Wednesday's before tournaments start. Much of their information comes direct from the Euro or US Tour via long serving and very experienced caddies.

Well today was about as good as it gets with winners everywhere ! It was certainly save the best till last though as no fewer than four of my services gave out Giles Cross in the last at Chepstow, getting home in a driving finish winning by 1/2 length to round off a brilliant day.
Should collect a good win on the Golf tomorrow as Tipping Legends tip Henrik Stenson is 8 shots clear going into the final round of the Nedbank Challenge in South Africa, on at 13/2 which should ensure another profitable day unless things go wrong elsewhere.
