Stopped the rot

Monday 11 May

Today's profit will hardly register in the overall scheme of things, but after dropping over £4000 in the last five days it's good to be booking a positive result.

There's a £300 loss from the weekend golf which I'm including today rather than re-work all last weeks figures again.

Best of the day was a winning double from Equine Investments - the second leg late in the day which averted another potential disaster.

A P McCoy was my nemesis again at Towcester with a great ride to conjure a winning run out of Hunting Tower to deny Mohawk Star, advised by SLH.

Running short of time tonight so will respond to recent comments tomorrow - and also address one or two thoughts on the staking plan. Haven't made any adjustments yet, but a few things to ponder.

Hi JP,

Today hopefully was a turning point - I've had a torrid time of late too!

I've been following TL while and read a really good article about how to use their edge and get a better return from their tips - it was in the Secret Betting Club monthly a couple of editions ago. Might be worth a look.

Cheers
Malcolm

Hi Malcolm,

Thanks very much for your comment, have managed to build on yesterday and hopefully can consolidate now in the weeks ahead.

I've read a couple of pieces regarding different ways of playing the TL selections and while I've come to no firm conclusions, I think some changes well need to be made to what I'm doing at present.

Trouble with this time of year is there is so little time to think about things, especially on the days when I'm out at work - once the racing has finished I spend most of the rest of the evening updating my records.

However, I've chosen to go down the route of using a large number of services, so a bit of extra work is no problem as long as the additional profit is there.

All the best to you
JP
