Equine sign off with a winner

Saturday 17 October

Equine Investments put up their final bet of the turf flat season today (although it was on the all weather at Wolves), and they finished off in great style with Bertie Southstreet going in at 9/2, having been advised earlier in the day at 8/1 - 10/1.

A profit of around 144 points to advised stakes and prices since May 1st is a terrific performance by any standards and I'm delighted with the way the season has gone.

Their official results spreadsheet, issued tonight, shows a profit of 137 points - sometimes a better price was available than they have shown on their results, my own profit has been 140.52 points @ £100 per point.

Getting on quick, and at the right price is the biggest challenge with EI. Missed one or two bets along the way, and losing my Bet365 account in August was a blow, as most of the bets were placed there until then.

They resume for the all weather on December 1st, and hopefully the winter campaign will be just as successful. No doubt getting the prices will be more difficult in the thinner all weather markets but I'll do the best I can.

Of my other racing services Tipping Legends and The Form Guru both found one winner among today's selections to end the day more or less level.

There were no account bets on any of SLH's lines, or for The Form Analyst, Maths, Punter Profits, or Isiris.

The one bet from Football Elite was a winner today, and three out of six for Winabobatoo resulted in a small profit.

Played on a few of the mentions in today's messages, but nothing doing.

have you noticed any sort of impact that the all weather tracks have? I have noticed and this may be coincidental that an all weather track in Australia very rarely sees favourites winning.

Hi mate,

Most of the racing that takes place on the all weather is pretty moderate, and that is being kind.

Just had a quick look at favourite stats for the four a/w courses for the last five years. They win non-handicaps around 38% of the time, handicaps 29%.

Don't pay much attention to the all weather to be honest, just follow the tips that are given out. Will be my first a/w season with EI, see how they go compared with the turf season.

All the best
JP
