Great day for TL, but a loser for me.

Saturday 24 October

Disappointed to make a loss today, but gave a bit away with my own bets which made the difference between profit and loss.

Just over a week now since I started following Tipping Legends again, and another cracking day today - which was the first day of their NH special.

Three winners from seven bets advised - at 10/1, 8/1 and 7/1 and a profit on the day of 22 points. The winners were Nampour in the first at Aintree and then Frankie Figg and Hunterview within five minutes of each other.

Nothing from SLH on his mainline, but a very strong four point bet on his exchange line on Reve De Sivola paid dividends. The all weather bet, Bluebok was backed down to favouritism but was unplaced.

Seven bets and seven losers for The Form Guru, a loss of 14 points of the day - the best run from Hillview Boy who finished second to Hunterview.

Isiris have had a shocking week, and that continued today with Finzi finishing tailed off at Chepstow.

Maths account bet was a split stake bet on Clear Sailing and Inspirina at Doncaster. Clear Sailing was a non-runner, but Inspirian finished second for a place return on the each way bet.

Both Winabob and Football Elite advised bets on the Burnley v Wigan match today. Winabob got it right with Wigan at 2/1, but their other three bets advised were all draws and so a one point loss on the day. They have one more game tomorrow, and the other three Football Elite bets this weekend are also played on Sunday.

Finally, lost £300 on my own football bets today which wasn't too clever - tried a draw treble and an under/over 2.5 goals bet but came up empty handed on both. Also lost £150 on other bets on the horses.

Hi John,

Good to hear from you.

Best performer this year has been Equine Investments, 140 point profit in just over 5 months.

Currently not taking any new subscribers but you can register an interest on their website should places become available for next year.

SLH had a great start to the year, but has not made any profit since May. However since he is a NH specialist I'm expecting that he will kick on again now the main jumps season is getting underway.

If you're interested in sports betting, Football Elite have made a great start to the season. Give a free trial for a month and then it's £99 for six months which would take you to the end of May.

Links to all the services on my blog.

Best of luck to you whichever way you go.
