Profitable Day - Simples !

Monday 9 November

Work got in the way again today but it all worked out well enough in the end. Was more than half an hour late picking up the SLH and Isiris messages and so missed the advised prices on both.

Isiris advised a main account bet on Quilinton at a best price of 11/10 but evens would be OK also. Was odds on by the time I checked in, but my orders on Betfair were matched well before the race - as it turned out the SP was evens and the horse won very easily.

As is usual with SLH bets these days the price on Simple Jim was slashed, and with 6/1 minimum advised 4/1 was the best price I could get when I looked at the prices. Left an order in at 6/1 on BF (6/5 in the place market) and both these got hit as the horse drifted in the pre-race market. It was lucky for me it did as Simple Jim got up right on the line to win by a nose.

No joy from any of the other services with losers from The Form Analyst, Punter Profits, Tipping Legends and the SLH A/W line. No joy from the Maths mentions, or the two Pricewise Extra selections which were both matched later in the day after I missed the advised prices.

Having watched your blog for a while. I will offer a little advice, though it is your portfolio!

I would drop The Form Analyst and Winabobatoo, you have almost got it right with a nice even 45% upwards trend, just these 2 dead weights dragging you down.

I would add Gorans Winners and Skeeve Non-League Football. His waiting list is open at present. I am tempted to suggest TFG to go as well, but he seems to be performing the best when you take a % view on things.

Good result for both of us then Jay !

Hi anon,

Leaving things as they are for the time being, certainly until after my break at Christmas.

I'm on Skeeve's waiting list, so will hopefully get a place sometime soon.

Not sure why you think I should get rid of TFG. Made nearly 5K backing these since May 1st. Would have been even more had I not missed 12/1 and 20/1 winners in the last couple of weeks.
